Real Time Real Time calculator





Poker-Spy™ includes a calculator that constantly monitors the action at your table to provide you with the your odds of winning based on your pocket cards, the number of opponents left in the hand and the known community cards (Flop, Turn and River).

The calculator is displayed automatically when the Game Tracker Window is first displayed. It is updated with new odds whenever you are dealt hole cards or new cards are dealt for the Flop, Turn and River.

If you close the calculator, you can activate it again by clicking on the icon located on the Game Tracker Window.

The Manual Calculator is accessible from the View menu in the Poker-Spy Console Window. Select View then Manual Calculator.

Calculator Fields

The Poker-Spy Calculator display is divided in the following areas.

Win / Split

Displays the odds you have of winning the hand based on the information known at the time. This information is based on your hole cards, the number of opponents remaining in the hand and the known community cards.

Probability area

This area provides the probability of completing the possible poker hands by the river.

The center column lists the possible poker hands.

The first column lists the probability for your final hand. To help you quickly identify your most likely hands, the most probable hands are identified with a Green Highlight. The calculator displays the probability in the percentages and the odds notation.

The third colum is the probability of the best hand by your opponents. To help you quickly identify your opponents most likely hand, the most probable hands are identified with a Red Highlight, and the next most probable hands are identified with an Orange Highlight.

Pocket Rank

Pocket Rank indicates the rank of your starting hand out of a possible 169 card combinations. The best hand, AA, is ranked 1, KK is ranked 2, followed by the other possible cards all the way down to 72o which is ranked 169.

Pocket Group

The starting hands have been placed in groups. There are 8 groups where group 1 are the better starting hands. For information on how to best play the hands within each group consult Hold'em Poker for Advanced Players by David Sklansky.

The rankings are color coded as follows:

  • Green: Ranking Groups 1 and 2
  • Yellow: Ranking Groups 3, 4, 5, 6
  • Purple: Ranking Groups 7
  • Red: Ranking Groups 7


This area of the Calculator displayed your hole cards for the hand and the known community cards used for the odds calculations.


The Poker-Spy Manual calculator lets you verify and learn the odds of any permutation of cards and number of opponents.

Simply select your pocket cards, the community cards and the number of opponents to see the odds.

Click a card a second time to unselect it. Or click the clear button to unselect all the cards.
